Thank you to all the Staff, Volunteers, Athletes and Coaches that made the 2006 North American Snowboarding Finals a great success. 

I know that many of you are looking forward to viewing the pictures that were taken at the event, and we are working very hard to get them up as soon as possible.  There are literally hundreds of them!  We hope to have them up by Thursday, March 30th.

In the meantime, check out our media page, as there has been quite a bit of interest in the event. Also, take some time to learn about FiveTwoTen and stay tuned to learn how to continue to be involved in our exciting program.

Welcome the the 2006 North American Alpine Snowboarding Finals at Crystal Mountain.

The local organizing committee and the Crystal Mountain community are excited to invite many of the world's best snowboarders to Washington State.

This year the Finals are especially exciting as they will be held immediately following the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy and offer a glimpse of the athletes that will be competing in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics.

Five Two Ten and the NorAm finals are currently searching for volunteers and sponsors interested in supporting the competition and Five Two Ten's innovative program showcasing the Pacific Northwest prior to the 2010 Olympics.

Carving for “The Mug”

U.S. Olympians Rosey Fletcher (Girdwood, AK), Michelle Gorgone (Sudbury, MA), Tyler Jewell (Sudbury, MA) and Chris Klug (Aspen, CO) will be vying for “The Mug” Saturday and Sunday at the 2006 North American Snowboarding Finals at Washington’s Crystal Mountain.  One hundred snowboarders from the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Australia, Poland and the Philippines are at Crystal for Washington State’s first NorAm that will crown a U.S. and Canadian national champion and help usher in the region’s build-up to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, B.C.


Seattle Sonics Welcome Athletes at March 22nd Basketball Game

The Seattle Sonics invited competitors at the 2006 NorAm Snowboarding Finals to participate in the March 22nd NBA Basketball Game against the Milwalkee Bucks.  Olympic bronze medalist Rosey Fletcher and the rest of the American and Canadian Olympic teams recieved a warm welcome home while being featured on the court in the second quarter.

Five Two Ten and the North American Snowboarding Finals congratulate Rosey Fletcher of Girdwood, Alaska for her bronze medal performance in the Women's Parallel Giant Slalom at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics.  Congratulations!!

 


Congratulations Scott!

Crystal Mountain's own Scott Macartney placed 7th in the Super Giant Slalom ski race at the 2006 Torino Olympics, leading the American team.  Congratulations!


Northwest Olympic Snowboarder

Richmond, British Columbia's own Alexa Loo represented Canada at the 2006 Olymipcs in Torino, Italy.  Alexa raced the Parallel Giant Slalom event, along with her Teammates, Quebecers Jasey Jay Anderson and Philippe Bérubé. 

Not only is Alexa Canada's top Alpine Racer, she is also a Chartered Accountant.


Two Countries

The 2006 Finals will only be the second time that the Canadian and American National Champions will be crowned at the same event.

Crystal Mountain is home to a number of America's top winter sports athletes, including Scott Macartney and Libby Ludlow.
